We were afflicted, Tossed with tempest, and needed God’s comfort,

Behold, The LORD will lay our stones with colorful gems, And lay our foundations with sapphires.

God will make our pinnacles of rubies, our gates of crystal, And all our walls of precious stones.

All our children shall be taught by The LORD, And great shall be the peace of our children.

In righteousness we are established; We shall be far from oppression, for we shall not fear;

We shall be far from terror, for it shall not come near us.

Indeed the enemy shall surely assemble, but they do not assemble against us because Our Father sends them.

Whoever assembles against us shall fall for our sake.

Our enemies come up against us come to bring us their wealth.

Behold, Our Father has created the blacksmith Who blows the coals in the fire, Who brings forth an instrument for his work;

And The LORD has created the spoiler to destroy our enemies.

No weapon formed against us shall prosper, And every tongue which rises against us in judgment shall be condemned.

This is our heritage as servants and children of the Lord, And our righteousness is from The LORD.”
