Seeking Jesus First Nov. 28, 2024

Happy Thanksgiving!

“Therefore by Him let us continually offer the sacrifice of praise to God, that is, the fruit of our lips, giving thanks to His name.” (Hebrews 13:15, NKJV)

“A Psalm of Thanksgiving. Make a joyful shout to the Lord, all you lands! Serve the Lord with gladness; Come before His presence with singing. Know that the Lord, He is God; It is He who has made us, and not we ourselves; We are His people and the sheep of His pasture. Enter into His gates with thanksgiving, And into His courts with praise. Be thankful to Him, and bless His name. For the Lord is good; His mercy is everlasting, And His truth endures to all generations.” (Psalm 100, NKJV)

An Exhortation to the Body of Christ. “Rejoice always, pray without ceasing, in everything give thanks; for this is the will of God in Christ Jesus for you. Do not quench the Spirit. Do not despise prophecies. Test all things; hold fast what is good. Abstain from every form of evil. Now may the God of peace Himself sanctify you completely; and may your whole spirit, soul, and body be preserved blameless at the coming of our Lord Jesus Christ. He who calls you is faithful, who also will do it.” (1 Thessalonians 5:16–24, NKJV)

As I walk through the day each day, I focus on the blessings that I am encountering and give thanks to You, O LORD. You are The I AM. Everything that I desire and need is found in You. Through You, O Christ Jesus, I am complete. I am not defined by what someone thinks is lacking in my life. Thank You for being the source of my start and my finish. Through You, I am strong enough, I am healthy enough, I am wealthy enough, I am wise enough, I can do all things that You have given me to do. Thank You, O Savior, for being my strength and my salvation. Thank You LORD JESUS CHRIST, MY SAVIOR and MY STRENGTH. Amen.”
