Seeking Jesus First Dec. 15, 2025
Our church is a Word of Faith, Apostolic, Kingdom Life Church.
Word of Faith - We believe the just and righteous live by faith in Jesus Christ and by faith in The Word of God. “Man shall not live by bread alone but by every word from the mouth of God.” Word of Faith is the message of The Gospel (Good News) of Jesus Christ. We believe the word of God. We hear and keep it. We keep it with our heart, soul, mind and strength. We do not allow ourselves to disagree with God’s word. Joshua 1:8 tells us, “You shall not let the law depart out of your mouth but you shall meditate in it day and night so that yo may observe and do it, then you shall make your way prosperous and you shall have good success.” In the New Testament, the law is the law of love, the word of God, the law of life in Christ Jesus. Simply put, we believe God and His word. We obey God and His word. We speak according to the loving word of God. We say what God say about our situation.
Apostolic - As sent ones, we are a people with a mission. We grow where we are planted. We support the vision of the house. We build each other up. We are not divisive. We believe that the gifts that God gave to the church have not passed away. The church leadership gifts are still here. The gifts of the Spirit are still here. The fruit of the spirit is still in us. “All of the promises of God are in Christ, “Yes”, and in us, “Amen”, to the glory of The Father.” What Jesus told His disciples applies to us and to those who believe after us, so we are making disciples and teaching them to observe all that Jesus taught and commanded.
Kingdom Life - The Kingdom of God is here. Jesus reigns over us and through us. We do not reign over people. We reign over the earth with Christ Jesus. “Those who have received the abundance of grace and the gift of righteousness shall reign in life through the one, Christ Jesus.” We have been joined to The Lord and we are one spirit with Him. Jesus is the head of the body. Jesus is the King of kings. Jesus is Lord. We still pray, “Your kingdom come, Your will be done, on earth as it is in heaven.” The “mustard seed” has been planted in the earth and it is growing to fill the earth, and the whole earth will be shaded and served by the life flows from the kingdom of God into the earth.
Come and Grow. Come and Love. Come and Serve. Come and Lead.
