Seeking Jesus First Dec. 17, 2024
How can we glorify GOD?
Obey God and receive all of the promises.
“What then shall we say to these things? If God is for us, who can be against us? He who did not spare His own Son, but delivered Him up for us all, how shall He not with Him also freely give us all things?” (Romans 8:31–32, NKJV)
“For the Son of God, Jesus Christ, who was preached among you by us… was not Yes and No, but in Him was Yes. For all the promises of God in Him are Yes, and in Him Amen, to the glory of God through us.” (2 Corinthians 1:19–20, NKJV)
“But now He has obtained a more excellent ministry, inasmuch as He is also Mediator of a better covenant, which was established on better promises.” (Hebrews 8:6, NKJV)
“Jesus said to him, “If you can believe, all things are possible to him who believes.”” (Mark 9:23, NKJV)
“But without faith it is impossible to please Him, for he who comes to God must believe that He is, and that He is a rewarder of those who diligently seek Him.” (Hebrews 11:6, NKJV)
“Most assuredly, I say to you, he who believes in Me, the works that I do he will do also; and greater works than these he will do, because I go to My Father. And whatever you ask in My name, that I will do, that the Father may be glorified in the Son. If you ask anything in My name, I will do it. “If you love Me, keep My commandments.” (John 14:12–15, NKJV)
Keep His words in your mouth, Meditate on them day and night, so that you may observe and do all of them, then you will make your way prosperous and you will have good success.
God wants you to receive all of the promises. It glorifies God when you receive all of the promises. You provoke those who do not follow God to jealousy when you receive all of the promises. When men see your righteous lifestyle, receiving the promises and going everywhere and doing good, they will glorify God as well. Your life is a testimony of God’s goodness and righteousness. Believe and receive all of God’s promises and give God all the glory.
