Seeking Jesus First Dec, 19, 2025
Do you believe that all things work together for the good of those who love God and are called according to His purpose?
Do you really believe, that no matter the circumstance or situation, God will make it work out for good because you love Him and you are called according to His purpose?
Do you really have faith that God will and you do qualify for God to do it?
“Likewise the Spirit also helps in our weaknesses. For we do not know what we should pray for as we ought, but the Spirit Himself makes intercession for us with groanings which cannot be uttered. Now He who searches the hearts knows what the mind of the Spirit is, because He makes intercession for the saints according to the will of God. And we know that all things work together for good to those who love God, to those who are the called according to His purpose. For whom He foreknew, He also predestined to be conformed to the image of His Son, that He might be the firstborn among many brethren.” (Romans 8:26–29, NKJV)
We don’t even know what or how to pray, so Holy Spirit, in us, prays through us with groaning and utterance that cannot be perceived with the natural understanding. He searches our heart and knows the mind of our Father, God, and prays according to the will of God. He knows whether or not we love God. “Jesus said to him, “ ‘You shall love the Lord your God with all your heart, with all your soul, and with all your mind.’” (Matthew 22:37, NKJV) He knows your gifts and callings. “For the gifts and the calling of God are irrevocable.” (Romans 11:29, NKJV) “For whom the Lord loves He chastens, And scourges every son whom He receives.” If you endure chastening, God deals with you as with sons; for what son is there whom a father does not chasten? But if you are without chastening, of which all have become partakers, then you are illegitimate and not sons.” (Hebrews 12:6–8, NKJV)
Romans 8:26-28 has a couple of “pre-quals”. Matthew 22:37 tells us what loving God is. Romans 11:29 says that God will not give up. And Hebrews 12:6-8 says that we are not sons if we do not respond to God’s correction.
So continue in faith which reveals its faithfulness in loving obedience to God’s words. Keep praying in the Spirit and doing what you know is right. Say, “Yes” to God’s word and the leading of Holy Spirit. “Submit to God and resist the devil and he will flee from you.” “But may the God of all grace, who called us to His eternal glory by Christ Jesus, after you have suffered a while, perfect, establish, strengthen, and settle you.” (1 Peter 5:10, NKJV)
