The most important time of your life is now.

Your vision depends on what you do now.

It’s not too early or too late.

Now is the time to take the next step in your vision….

Even if that is your first step, take it now.

If you don’t have a vision, your first step is to get one.

Discover your God-given vision. It is not difficult. Many times, it is obvious.

What are you good at?

What makes you cry and want to do something?

What makes you laugh and keep moving forward?

There are inexpensive and even free programs that will evaluate your natural gifting and point you toward a fulfilling life doing something that utilizes the way God made you.

Take some time with God and evaluate and listen to the leading of Holy Spirit. This is not just looking for something that you think is cool. Many times we appreciate the values of others specifically because we do not have them. This does not mean that we have the same calling or purpose. God does not make copies.

As long as your vision remains unclear, connect with someone who has clear vision and support, help, and watch and learn and keep growing in The LORD.

It is great for each of us to pursue natural “callings” as we pursue God. A natural calling follows the natural talents mindset. What am I good at? What do I enjoy doing that produces an income? How can I get better at it? How can I use this talent to bless the kingdom of God? Etc.

The title of this daily devotion series is “Seeking Jesus First”. We can “Seek Jesus First” AND pursue business success with ambition, integrity and tenacity.

We can have vision for following God, building a loving family, and building a lucrative business or succeeding on our job. These things are compatible. They even compliment each other when they are kept in proper order.

Jesus and His Spirit live inside of us so we can include Him in everything we do. Balancing family life and work life can be done well if it is being done on purpose.

Don’t take the path of least resistance in the flesh. Don’t just go with the flow of the world. Establish the flow. Create the flow. God is flowing on the inside of you. Connect with Him and establish that flow in your family and work life.

Great results are found and achieved through overcoming adversity.

You will need to work harder than average to succeed beyond the average. You will need to learn past mediocre in order to be prepared to advance past the mediocre. You need to be willing to apply yourself at a higher level than those who just want to “get by”, if you want to be successful.

Where there is no vision, the people perish: but he that keepeth the law, happy is he.” (Proverbs 29:18, KJV (WS))

When there is no clear prophetic vision, people quickly wander astray. But when you follow the revelation of the word, heaven’s bliss fills your soul.” (Proverbs 29:18, TPT)

Where there is no revelation, the people cast off restraint; But happy is he who keeps the law.” (Proverbs 29:18, NKJV)

Here are three different translations of the same verse. I am going to pick the parts from each that I want to use for this devotion.

Where there is no vision, people cast off restraint, but when you receive the revelation of The Word of God, you will be happy.

Now I’m going to freelance it!

When you have a vision for your life, you will not wander around groping in the darkness. On the other hand, the combination of vision and the revelation of God’s word will produce so much success and happiness that you will know God is involved in your life.

Now Faith Is! Start (or continue) NOW. Now is important to your vision and your future.
