Fruit of the spirit daily confessions
I sow to the spirit and reap abundant and everlasting life.
Because I have and speak the words of Christ Jesus, who is the High Priest of my confession, the words that I speak are spirit and life.
The love of God fills my heart and motivates my faith. I love the household of faith.
I rejoice in the Lord always, for the joy of the Lord is my strength.
The peace of God, which surpasses the natural understanding, guards and keeps my heart and my mind through Christ Jesus.
Through patience, I possess my soul. I persevere and endure all things, and I receive all of the promises of God which are in Christ Jesus, “Yes and Amen for the glory of God.”
As the elect of God, I put on tender mercies, kindness, humility, meekness and patience.
As a child of God, I pursue righteousness, godliness, faith, love, and gentleness.
The goodness of God floods my character because he has given to me all things that pertain to life and godliness.
I am faithful to God and to His word, and His word is faithful to me.
I have self-control. I use it on my mind, my will, and my emotions. I use it on my words and my actions. The salvation of God is manifest in my life because I order my conversation according to His word.
“Therefore, as the elect of God, holy and beloved, put on tender mercies, kindness, humility, meekness, longsuffering; bearing with one another, and forgiving one another, if anyone has a complaint against another; even as Christ forgave you, so you also must do. But above all these things put on love, which is the bond of perfection. And let the peace of God rule in your hearts, to which also you were called in one body; and be thankful. Let the word of Christ dwell in you richly in all wisdom, teaching and admonishing one another in psalms and hymns and spiritual songs, singing with grace in your hearts to the Lord. And whatever you do in word or deed, do all in the name of the Lord Jesus, giving thanks to God the Father through Him.” (Colossians 3:12–17, NKJV)
