What is your weakness if The Lord is your strength?

Behold, God is my salvation, I will trust and not be afraid; ‘For Yah, the Lord, is my strength and song; He also has become my salvation.’ ”” (Isaiah 12:2, NKJV)

Blessed be the Lord, Because He has heard the voice of my supplications! The Lord is my strength and my shield; My heart trusted in Him, and I am helped; Therefore my heart greatly rejoices, And with my song I will praise Him. The Lord is their strength, And He is the saving refuge of His anointed.” (Psalm 28:6–8, NKJV)

Finally, my brethren, be strong in the Lord and in the power of His might.” (Ephesians 6:10, NKJV)

What is the strength of man compared to God?

What is the wisdom of man compared to the wisdom of God?

But what is the weakness of a man when The Lord is his strength?

And what is the foolishness of a man when The Lord is his wisdom?

What is your weakness when The LORD is your strength?

We could focus on our weakness and foolishness and talk about it all day. We could exalt God and denigrate humanity. Did God do that? Or did God humble Himself and exalt humanity?

God recognized our low estate and joined us in it so that He could elevate us out of it. What is salvation? He saved, He delivered us, He changed us, He forgave our sins. He held our diseases. He took away our infirmities (weakness).

… Let the weak say, ‘I am strong.’ ”” (Joel 3:10, NKJV)

Therefore I take pleasure in infirmities, in reproaches, in needs, in persecutions, in distresses, for Christ’s sake. For when I am weak, then I am strong.” (2 Corinthians 12:10, NKJV)

How could Paul be strong when he is weak? He was strong in The LORD and in the power of His might. The Lord was his strength.

I’ll ask again; What is your weakness when The LORD is your strength?

  • Relying on the strength of the flesh is weakness when you have unfettered access to The LORD’s strength.
  • Trusting in man when you can trust in God. Trusting in man is believing what people have said about you rather than what God says about you.
  • Using the natural understanding when you have the Holy Spirit who understands everything perfectly even the deepest things of God.
  • Anything that convinces, tricks or deceives you into not utilizing God’s strength as your own.
  • Trying to apply earthly wisdom to spiritual things.
  • Not living by faith in the grace of God.
  • Not believing the promises of God. Thinking that you are somehow excluded from them or that God picks and chooses who He will keep His word for.
  • Thinking that you are not worthy of everything that God has for you.
  • Not knowing God and what He has in store for you. Not knowing the word and promises of God.
  • Living without faith, hope and love.

Turn these around if you believe God and His Word to you (to all who believe).

I trust in God as my strength. I believe what God says about me. I rely on the leading of Holy Spirit. I walk by faith and I lean on His understanding. Everything I do, I do it with the grace of God and God Himself as my strength. I have spiritual wisdom from God in every circumstance so I wait on The LORD. All of the promises of God are “Yes” to me, so I say, “Amen” to God and give Him glory. Because of what Christ Jesus has done through the grace of God, I believe and declare that I deserve and share in the reward and full inheritance of Christ Jesus. I study The Word of God, which is my trust agreement from God so that I know and believe all of the benefits included in the will of God. I live by faith, hope and love. I can do all these things through the anointing which strengthens me to do it.
