Seeking Jesus First May 29, 2025

When life has thrown hard times your way and you are struggling with keeping your mind and your responses right, what do you do?
What do you do in the midst of a trial?
Psalm 27:8,13-14 “When You said, “Seek My face,” My heart said to You, “Your face, Lord, I will seek.”
“I would have lost heart, unless I had believed That I would see the goodness of the Lord In the land of the living. Wait on the Lord; Be of good courage, And He shall strengthen your heart; Wait, I say, on the Lord!”
Psalm 40:1-4 “I waited patiently for the Lord; And He inclined to me, And heard my cry. He also brought me up out of a horrible pit, Out of the miry clay, And set my feet upon a rock, And established my steps. He has put a new song in my mouth-Praise to our God; Many will see it and fear, And will trust in the Lord. Blessed is that man who makes the Lord his trust, And does not respect the proud, nor such as turn aside to lies.”
