Seeking Jesus First Nov. 10, 2025

The owner of the earth never gave it to the devil.

Men subjugate themselves to the devil through the lusts of the flesh; and through wicked men, the devil influences the earth for evil.

Psalm 24:1 “The earth is the Lord’s, and all its fullness,The world and those who dwell therein.”

Psalm 115:14-16 “May the Lord give you increase more and more, You and your children. May you be blessed by the Lord,Who made heaven and earth. The heaven, even the heavens, are the Lord’s; But the earth He has given to the children of men.”

For I consider that the sufferings of this present time are not worthy to be compared with the glory which shall be revealed in us. For the earnest expectation of the creation eagerly waits for the revealing of the sons of God. For the creation was subjected to futility, not willingly, but because of Him who subjected it in hope; because the creation itself also will be delivered from the bondage of corruption into the glorious liberty of the children of God. For we know that the whole creation groans and labors with birth pangs together until now. Not only that, but we also who have the firstfruits of the Spirit, even we ourselves groan within ourselves, eagerly waiting for the adoption, the redemption of our body. For we were saved in this hope, but hope that is seen is not hope; for why does one still hope for what he sees? But if we hope for what we do not see, we eagerly wait for it with perseverance.” (Romans 8:18–25, NKJV)

Man, through disobedience to God, delays the deliverance of the earth from the bondage of corruption.

Grace and peace be multiplied to you in the knowledge of God and of Jesus our Lord, as His divine power has given to us all things that pertain to life and godliness, through the knowledge of Him who called us by glory and virtue, by which have been given to us exceedingly great and precious promises, that through these you may be partakers of the divine nature, having escaped the corruption that is in the world through lust.” (2 Peter 1:2–4, NKJV)

Therefore submit to God. Resist the devil and he will flee from you.” (James 4:7, NKJV)

We have the victory. “For whatever is born of God overcomes the world. And this is the victory that has overcome the world—our faith.” (1 John 5:4, NKJV)

We, through our obedience to God, bring the glorious deliverance of God’s salvation to each other and to the earth. We live by every word that comes from the mouth of God. For this purpose the sons of God (like The Son of God) are manifest to destroy the works of the devil. Are we willing to think like God, Our Father?
