Walking in the blessing and favor of God in the earth still depends on hearing and obeying His voice.

But He said, “More than that, blessed are those who hear the word of God and keep it!”” (Luke 11:28, NKJV)

He who does not love Me does not keep My words; and the word which you hear is not Mine but the Father’s who sent Me.” (John 14:24, NKJV)

“Now it shall come to pass, if you diligently obey the voice of the Lord your God, to observe carefully all His commandments which I command you today, that the Lord your God will set you high above all nations of the earth. And all these blessings shall come upon you and overtake you, because you obey the voice of the Lord your God:” (Deuteronomy 28:1–2, NKJV)

Salvation is by grace through faith in Christ Jesus, but how we align with God in our lives here on earth matters here on earth. When we choose to listen to God’s word and keep it, we begin to understand that His ways are best. He is our Creator, our Author. He knows how we are made. He knows our story. If we will trust Him and obey, we will live our best life. His ways will help us avoid most of the traps in this life because most of the traps in this life are set off by the lust of the flesh, the lust of the eyes and the pride of life.

Listen to God’s words for they are life giving words. Keep His words because what we say and do impacts every area of life. God’s basic plans for HIs children are the same, but if we will not follow the basic plan, how will we ever get to the specifics?

  • Believe and receive the love of God
  • Diligently seek Him with all of your heart
  • Believe and receive God’s Word and Spirit
  • Imitate Him in speech and action
  • Cultivate the fruit of the spirit in your daily walk
  • Crucify the works of the flesh
  • Read The Holy Bible and pray always

This is the will of God, our sanctification. We are sanctified by hearing and keeping the word of God. We are blessed when we hear and keep the word of God. Faith without corresponding action is not faith.
