The Character of God

Let he who boasts, boast that he knows God and understands that God is kind and merciful and that He loves being fair(judgement) and will never do us wrong (righteousness) (Jer. 9:24). God is love. (1 Jn. 4:8). God is knowable and understandable because God enjoys relationship and friendship. Relationship is impossible without understanding one another. God enjoys revealing Who He is to us. Our “God encounters” are as pleasing to Him as they are to us. This is the nature of love.
