Seeking Jesus First - Oct. 14, 2022

Yesterday, I finished the devotion with an incomplete statement. “God allows what we allow.” It’s such a loaded statement, that it requires more understanding. Christ Jesus is the Sovereign King of Heaven and Earth, but there is still unrest in the earth. Not all of the kingdoms of the earth are submitted to Jesus as King. One might ask the question, “If Jesus were really Sovereign King with all authority and power, why has He not just “ruled with and iron rod” and broken his enemies already?
