Seeking Jesus First - Sept 5, 2023
What does the Bible say about the rights of Christians on earth? A right or privilege is a delegated authority. God speaks and acts according to the good pleasure of His will. God’s Word is His Will. When God speaks, He delegates rights, privileges and authority.
This is why Jesus told us that we live by every word that comes from the mouth of God.
A right is something God, through His Word, has given believers authority to do. Believers do not have to ask God for a right that He has already granted. A right is a delegated authority.
Here are some confessions that are tied to the rights, privileges and authority of the sons of God.
- I am in Christ and I walk in His authority because Jesus Christ gave me authority to speak and act in His name. John 14:13-14; 15:16; 16:23-26; Eph. 1:3; 2:6
- I believe in and abide in Christ Jesus. His words abide in me so I do His works and I do even greater works than He did; and whatever I ask in His Name, He does it. John 14:12, 15:7
- I am of the body of Christ, and Satan has no power over me, for I overcome evil with good! Rom. 12:5, 21
- I am submitted to God and the devil flees from me because I resist him! Jas. 4:7
- I have received the abundance of grace and the gift of righteousness. Therefore I am righteous and I reign as a king in life by Jesus Christ. Rom. 5:17, Rev. 1:5; 5:10
- As a son of God with delegated authority, whatever I bind on earth is bound in heaven and whatever I loose on earth is loosed in heaven. Matt. 16:19,18:18-20
- I bind the works of darkness that would try to hinder me from walking in the perfect will of God. I loose the Word of the Lord in my life. I invite the Spirit of God to lead me and use me today for God’s glory. Matt. 16:19; 18:18
- I loose love, joy, peace, prosperity, favor, health, blessing, wisdom, understanding, and righteousness in my life, in Kingdom Life Church and in our church family today. Matt. 16:19; 18:18
- LORD, I ask that angels constantly minister on my behalf and help me to accomplish Your plan for my life. Angels, bring in the finances necessary for accomplishing my God-given desires, dreams and visions. Heb. 1:7,14, Matt. 16:19; 18:18
Use these confessions to repent.
When you stop feeling weird about saying them, and they are a part of your core understanding and belief system, you will exhibit more of God’s authority in your faith walk. You will exhibit more of God’s authority in your faith walk because God’s loving words are grace carriers. God’s loving words empower us through grace to believe in them and to live by them. So when you do what God says to do, you are actually showing by your faith that you have received God’s grace. This is why we ascribe unto The LORD glory and strength and we give thanks to Him for every blessing and breakthrough. He is the source. He has given us His grace through His loving words. His words have been made alive in our hearts by Holy Spirit. We have believed and acted on them. Now we can give the fruit what was produced by grace and faith to others.
