SJF - Daily Worship, Word and Spirit - Oct. 18, 2023

Here is a prophetic Biblical testimony of a devout man seeing the baby Jesus for the for first time. Revelation came to him by The Holy Spirit. He “somehow” knew Jesus was The LORD’s (YHVH”s) Christ (Messiah - Anointed) the first time that he saw Him. It could have been a dream or a vision or an internal or external voice. The method is not mentioned. However, The one who revealed it was Holy Spirit. This is before Holy Spirit was dwelling inside any person.

“And behold, there was a man in Jerusalem whose name was Simeon, and this man was just and devout, waiting for the Consolation of Israel, and the Holy Spirit was upon him. And it had been revealed to him by the Holy Spirit that he would not see death before he had seen the Lord’s Christ. So he came by the Spirit into the temple. And when the parents brought in the Child Jesus, to do for Him according to the custom of the law, he took Him up in his arms and blessed God and said: “Lord, now You are letting Your servant depart in peace, According to Your word; For my eyes have seen Your salvation Which You have prepared before the face of all peoples, A light to bring revelation to the Gentiles, And the glory of Your people Israel.”” (Luke 2:25–32, NKJV)

If people who did not have Holy Spirit dwelling in them could hear and receive revelation from GOD, how much more can those who have Holy Spirit dwelling in them and with them? You can both know His voice and know His presence. You can experience Holy Spirit - both internally and externally. Reach out (and in) to Holy Spirit right now. Receive His righteousness, peace and joy. Holy Spirit will instruct you in righteousness. He will lead you in and to peace (shalom - wholeness). He will flood you with joy unspeakable and full of glory. And He will prepare you for what God has in store for you!
