Seeking Jesus First - Daily Worship, Spirit and Word - Dec. 27, 2023
Christ Jesus said that there is an accounting for every word even the idle words. Christ Jesus said that we are justified or condemned by our own words. Ask Holy Spirit to help you unpack this. Our own words either deliver us or keep us in bondage. Whether we have good or evil things in our heart, our mouth reveals it by turning it into words. Sometimes they come out like an eruption during a Hungry, Angry, Lonely, Tired moment. Words and actions are important but the heart is most important. Our words and actions impact others, but they are the fruit of the heart. The heart must be healed in order for the mouth to work the way God intended. Do you want to encourage? Be encouraged in The LORD. Do you want to build up? Be built up in The Spirit. Do you want to use the language of heaven? Build yourself up in the most holy faith by praying in The Spirit. Receive the gifts of faith, hope and love from The Heavenly Father. If your heart is dry, soak it with love. Be still (cease from your own words and actions) and know, experience, encounter God. Faith in Christ Jesus, Hope in The Holy Spirit, Love in The Father. The Three Are ONE, and they have invited you into their unity. You too can be one with God... if you are willing to only say what you hear The Father say.
“Brood of vipers! How can you, being evil, speak good things? For out of the abundance of the heart the mouth speaks. A good man out of the good treasure of his heart brings forth good things, and an evil man out of the evil treasure brings forth evil things. But I say to you that for every idle word men may speak, they will give account of it in the day of judgment. For by your words you will be justified, and by your words you will be condemned.”” (Matthew 12:34–37, NKJV)
