Happy New Year! Let’s pray for The United States of America today and pray for elected and unelected people working in our government.

“Heavenly Father, LORD Jesus, we come to you on behalf of our nation today. We ask for Your blessing. We ask for Your justice. We ask for Your mercy. LORD Jesus, all authority in heaven and earth is Yours. We exalt You over our nation. We give You praise and thanks for the way our nation honored You in its beginning. We repent for the evil perpetrated in our nation and by our nation’s leaders. Only You can rightly judge what has been done in secret. Only You know what is in the heart of a person. We ask that You pull down the wicked from leading our nation. We ask that You exalt righteous and Godly people into leadership. Bet even with our desire to have a Godly nation, we do not know how to pray as we ought, so, Holy Spirit pray through us. Pray the perfect will of The Father. We will be still and know that You are God.”

“Our Father in Heaven,Your name is holy, Your kingdom come, Your will be done on earth as it is in heaven. Give us this day our daily bread. Forgive us our trespasses as we forgive those who trespass against us. Lead us not into temptation. Deliver us from evil. For the earth is Yours, the kingdom, the power and the glory are all Yours.”
