Seeking Jesus First - Daily Worship, Spirit and Word - Jan. 3, 2024

Have you ever wondered how Jesus could legally, according to The Law of Moses, give a new commandment to His disciples? The old covenant had to be fulfilled before a new covenant could be given along with a new commandment. Jesus fulfilled the old and made it obsolete. Jesus established a new covenant in His own blood. He gave us a better covenant with better promises. Please let go of the old one and embrace the new one. Receive the grace of God. Believe on The LORD Jesus Christ and follow His command. “LOVE ONE ANOTHER AS I HAVE LOVED.”

“A new commandment I give to you, that you love one another; as I have loved you, that you also love one another. By this all will know that you are My disciples, if you have love for one another.”” (John 13:34–35, NKJV)

Following this command is what displays to all people that you belong to and follow Christ Jesus. You can do it. When Jesus gave the new command, He gave the authority, right, privilege and power to do it. When you love, you are partnering with Christ. God is love so don’t be mistaken. When you love, you are drawing strength from God and giving it to others.
