SJF - Daily Worship, Spirit and Word - Feb. 6, 2024

There are basically two realms - spiritual and physical. Because we are spirit with a soul, living in a physical body, we are capable of interacting in both realms.

“while we do not look at the things which are seen, but at the things which are not seen. For the things which are seen are temporary, but the things which are not seen are eternal.” (2 Corinthians 4:18, NKJV)

We are able to receive a truth from God by the spirit, believe it in our heart, and change earth with it. The spiritual realm changes me through my participation by faith, hope and love. A person is the primary zone of impact “when heaven meets earth with a sloppy wet kiss” as the song says. This is because God changes people and people change the earth.

The “born-again” experience is given to change the person from an orphan to a beloved child of God.  A child focuses a lot on self until love changes their focus to others. Through intimacy with The Word and The Spirit, we see our “old orphan self” crucified with Christ and become mature loving sons and daughters. In this state we can fulfill our purpose and start discipling and changing the world.

There are two realms. One, we cannot change, and one, we can. “Your kingdom come, Your will be done, on earth as it is in heaven.” The will of God is accomplished on earth through loving sons and daughters of God.
