Don’t get hung up in the religion of, “We can’t do it. Only God can do it.” Here are some things that Christ Jesus said and Apostle Paul said by The Spirit.
- With God all things are possible.
- We can do all things through Christ who strengthens us.
- All things are possible to “him” who believes.
These are not just talking about God doing everything and us sitting still waiting for it. They are talking about faith in receiving from God what you desire simply because He said you can have it. They are talking about receiving God’s word of promise by faith and confessing in faith and walking by faith until you have received it. Once you have it, you don’t need faith to receive it anymore. Faith is used to receive the things you do not yet see. We can do it because Christ is in us and He says we can do it.
“So Jesus answered and said to them, “Have faith in God. For assuredly, I say to you, whoever says to this mountain, ‘Be removed and be cast into the sea,’ and does not doubt in his heart, but believes that those things he says will be done, he will have whatever he says. Therefore I say to you, whatever things you ask when you pray, believe that you receive them, and you will have them.” (Mark 11:22–24, NKJV)
Jesus declared the ultimate faith statement in Matthew 28:18. It remains unseen in the earth to this day. But we can do it because He said it and gave His disciples the mandate (the authority and purpose) to fulfill it.
