Believers stand on earth, between heaven and earth. We are conduit through which the will of heaven gets done in the earth. We preach the good news. We lay hands on the sick and release healing. We work and produce income to fund ministries. We stretch out our hands as the hands of Christ to those in need. We share the love of God. We forgive. We restore those who are broken. You may want to say that only God does these things. But it is clear that the Bible mandates that we do these things. We can agree that we do them in His name and authority. But without a person on earth connected to the Head as the body of Christ, the work would not get done.
“Most assuredly, I say to you, he who believes in Me, the works that I do he will do also; and greater works than these he will do, because I go to My Father.” (John 14:12, NKJV)
Who does Jesus say will do the works and the greater works? The one who believes.
Do you believe? What would happen if believers quit using religious arguments and started doing the works and the greater works?
