New and Better Covenant - New Law of Love - Better Promises
The Sacrifice and Blood of Christ Jesus gives us The New and Better Covenant.
Christ Jesus, The New Covenant Lawgiver, gave us The Law of The New Covenant, “Love One Another as I have loved you.”
All of God’s Promises are included in Christ Jesus and received by faith in The One who made them.
“Therefore do not let sin reign in your mortal body, that you should obey it in its lusts. And do not present your members as instruments of unrighteousness to sin, but present yourselves to God as being alive from the dead, and your members as instruments of righteousness to God. For sin shall not have dominion over you, for you are not under law but under grace.” (Romans 6:12–14, NKJV)
"THEREFORE DO NOT LET" (that means you and me) the absence of faith, hope and love have dominion over your body. Stop obeying the lusts of the flesh. Stop allowing the members of your physical body to operate apart from faith, hope and love. Present the members of your body (including your tongue) as instruments of righteousness (faith, hope and love). Do this because you are alive to God and dead to a faithless existence. Sin can not have dominion over you any longer because you are no longer under the law. Sin only dominates the flesh when you choose law over grace and faith. You are under the grace of God which empowers you through His Spirit inside you to live your life according to faith, hope and love.
The Covenant of Christ gives you the freedom to live by grace through faith in the promises of God. Holy Spirit in you empowers you to know God and to overflow in your heart with God’s love. God’s love empowers you to live and speak in faith, hope and love. This is how we inherit the kingdom of God.
