Part Two - Impacting the natural realm for good.
What kind of things influence the natural realm around you?
This seems to me to be a complex question because we see the influence of spiritual things on the natural realm. However, the natural realm does not change until it is acted upon by natural things. (Hold that thought…)
The natural can be imbued with spiritual force. Words are spoken thoughts so they are both spiritual and natural, depending upon where they originate. If words originate in the flesh, they can attract negative spiritual forces. “Do not let your mouth cause your flesh to sin, nor say before the messenger of God that it was an error. Why should God be angry at your excuse and destroy the work of your hands?” (Ecclesiastes 5:6, NKJV)
If words originate in the love of God, they will attract positive spiritual forces. “And of the angels He says: “Who makes His angels spirits And His ministers a flame of fire.”… “Are they not all ministering spirits sent forth to minister for those who will inherit salvation?” (Hebrews 1:7, 14, NKJV)
What we say and do impacts the natural world on our behalf for good or bad. This is true whether a person chooses to believe it or not. It is a form of planting and harvesting that the earth, as long as it remains, will continue to do.
If we want the world around us to change for our good, we must change. Nice thing about that is that we don’t have to do this alone. In fact, we are uniquely created as sons of God to do this very thing. On top of that, we are uniquely empowered by God’s own Holy Spirit in us to accomplish whatever we set out to do in and with Christ.
