Daily Worship, Spirit and Word June 21, 2024

What can we do as believers? What is our priority? What are our “works of righteousness that we should walk in”? The good news is simple. “Believe on The LORD Jesus Christ and you shall be saved.” Once we are saved, live a godly life. Live life in a manner that honors Christ Jesus. Love one another. Some are called in their hearts to the uttermost parts of the earth. Some are called to heir local community. All can participate through giving with those who are called to go or called to stay.

Do what you have faith to do. Be planted in a local church. Support it. Learn to love and to serve, as unto The LORD and not unto man. Read your Bible every day. Pray continually. Worship and praise God with thanksgiving. Let intimacy with God, your relationship with Holy Spirit, lead you. Say “Yes” to God and to God’s word. Let the consciousness of sin fade away. Let humility overcome your pride and stop fighting with God and with others.

Don’t get restless. If God wants you to do something different, he will make it apparent. He is a Good Father. If you are submitted and you have a good relationship, He will guide you with a look and a word. We stop listening to our earthly parents because we no longer feel the need to submit to them. If we are submissive to God’s Spirit in us, we will always catch His gaze and hear His voice.
