Part Seven - Grow Strong in Spirit
“Be strong and of good courage, do not fear nor be afraid of them; for the Lord your God, He is the One who goes with you. He will not leave you nor forsake you.”” (Deuteronomy 31:6, NKJV)
“And I will pray the Father, and He will give you another Helper, that He may abide with you forever—the Spirit of truth, whom the world cannot receive, because it neither sees Him nor knows Him; but you know Him, for He dwells with you and will be in you.” (John 14:16–17, NKJV)
We are not alone. We are not helpless. We have been redeemed and we are not forsaken. We are adopted and we have received The Holy Spirit to dwell with us and in us. We have been given authority and power to become sons of God in the likeness of Christ Jesus. We have access to the strength and power of God. The LORD is our strength. We have access to the wisdom of God. We have the mind of Christ. We have access to the word of God. The LORD puts His words in our mouths. We have access to the anointing of God. We are anointed of God.
If we remain weak, it is ignorance. If we remain weak, we are ignoring what God has said and done for us. Any tree planted in good ground, receiving adequate water and sunshine will grow strong.
We must be rooted and grounded in the love of God. We must eat of God’s Word. We must drink of His Spirit. We will conclude this study where we started. The minimum requirements for growing strong in spirit.
