If the manifestation of God’s promise is delayed in your life, keep speaking what God said. But ask Holy Spirit what YOU CAN DO as a catalyst to change your circumstances. Well, let me first go back to, “keep saying what God said”. If you are opposing God with your own words, you do not and can not expect God’s word to come to pass. Faith aligns our speech with God’s word. And, “let not the double-minded man think that He shall receive anything from God.”

Now, back to doing something different. It may be time to change our patterns of living if our current patterns are not producing the outcomes that God’s word declares. Can a drug addict who spends all of his money on drugs ever expect to walk in financial prosperity and be a blessing to others? The drug addict may be just as loved and saved as anyone else. He is just not walking in the truth of God’s grace in that area of his life and it is effecting the downfall of other areas of his life. Plug in any vice into this scenario. Vices produce death and destruction. When we stay bound to a vice instead of walking in freedom, we are producing our own decay. Here are some ways to change patterns:

• Get up early, or even in the middle of the night, to pray and spend time with Jesus.
• Fast and pray for a period of time.
• Go to a revival.
• Memorize all of the Scriptures that have to do with God’s promises concerning your need. Put these promises up in your house. Carry them around with you and meditate on them.
• Call for the elders of the church. Get with someone who is a powerful leader in your life and ask them to “strike the ground” with you. A regular, intense, worship, prayer and praise, faith focus. This is not a begging session. It is a faith session.

Change your patterns if you want to change your outcomes.
