One of the surest signs of faith is obedience. Christians believe that Jesus is Christ and God. Christians believe that The Bible was given to us by God’s Spirit speaking through people. Christians believe that Christ Jesus made for us a new and better covenant with God that is built upon better promises and a simple command: Love One Another.  Faith works because of love. God loved us and saved us. God has compassion on us. God’s promises come from His loving heart.

If we trust God’s heart for us, and we believe that He keeps His promises, obedience to His words is as natural as waking up in the morning and drinking a cup of coffee. I know we don’t all drink coffee but we do love each other.

Today, just practice the one commandment of the new covenant. Walk in the love of God. Love someone today. Love every believer you meet. Introduce the love of God to someone who doesn’t yet know it.

Seriously, Christians, if we just practice this one commandment from Jesus, everything will change for the better. Obey the law of love. You can do it. I can do it. The love of God cascades through our hearts by the Holy Spirit which God has given to us.  Use the process of faith and develop God’s loving nature in the way you speak and act toward others.
