God, The Father, has put all things in the hands of Christ Jesus. This means that the resurrected Christ Jesus has been given the authority to sit as King of kings and Lord of Lords. He is the judge of all heaven and earth, and He grants mercy to all who have put their faith in Him. The reason faith in Jesus is required is because faith in Jesus is faith in God.

“He who comes from above is above all; he who is of the earth is earthly and speaks of the earth. He who comes from heaven is above all. And what He has seen and heard, that He testifies; and no one receives His testimony. He who has received His testimony has certified that God is true. For He whom God has sent speaks the words of God, for God does not give the Spirit by measure. The Father loves the Son, and has given all things into His hand. He who believes in the Son has everlasting life; and he who does not believe the Son shall not see life, but the wrath of God abides on him.”” (John 3:31–36, NKJV)

Believing in God is not enough, because even the devils believe that God is God. One must put their faith in the one whom God sent. One must believe in the one whom God exalted. One must believe in the one whose name has been exalted above all others. To reject the one God exalts is to reject God Himself. Whoever believes in God’s son, Jesus Christ, receives eternal life. But the one who rejects The Son of God shall not receive eternal life. The one who rejects Jesus Christ will abide in the curse and experience separation from God’s love. They will experience what is called here, “the wrath of God”. If you have not placed your faith in Jesus Christ, text me or email me. I want to pray with you. But all you really need to do is call on the only name that grants God’s salvation - Jesus Christ. Call on Jesus with all of your heart. Open your mouth and declare that Jesus is LORD and start following Him.
