Thanksgiving Nov. 23, 2023 - Strike The Ground!
Strike the ground for yourself and for future generations.
The Spirit of The LORD came over me this morning to intercede, not just for my current situation or what is going on right now but to intercede for future generations. Pave the way for our kids and our grandkids.
“Elisha had become sick with the illness of which he would die. Then Joash the king of Israel came down to him, and wept over his face, and said, “O my father, my father, the chariots of Israel and their horsemen!” And Elisha said to him, “Take a bow and some arrows.” So he took himself a bow and some arrows. Then he said to the king of Israel, “Put your hand on the bow.” So he put his hand on it, and Elisha put his hands on the king’s hands. And he said, “Open the east window”; and he opened it. Then Elisha said, “Shoot”; and he shot. And he said, “The arrow of the Lord’s deliverance and the arrow of deliverance from Syria; for you must strike the Syrians at Aphek till you have destroyed them.” Then he said, “Take the arrows”; so he took them. And he said to the king of Israel, “Strike the ground”; so he struck three times, and stopped. And the man of God was angry with him, and said, “You should have struck five or six times; then you would have struck Syria till you had destroyed it! But now you will strike Syria only three times.”” (2 Kings 13:14–19, NKJV)
Bring it into the new covenant. We are talking about praise and intercession. We are talking about spiritual warfare on behalf of ourselves, our generation and future generations. We have spiritual authority and power to speak and to decree over future generations.
“praying always with all prayer and supplication in the Spirit, being watchful to this end with all perseverance and supplication for all the saints—and for me, that utterance may be given to me, that I may open my mouth boldly to make known the mystery of the gospel,” (Ephesians 6:18–19, NKJV)
I lift up my children and grandchildren. I lift up my future generations. I decree that they will walk in health and prosperity. I declare that they will walk in great relationship and revelation with GOD. I break off of them every lie that has been spoken to them or over them. With Holy Spirit anointing, I destroy every yoke of bondage and weight of false burdens laid on them by previous or current generations. I cover them with the blood of the covenant that Jesus shed on the cross. I say in fullness of faith and assurance that they are partakers of the very nature of God and the fullness of God. I shower and baptize them with the love of The Father and I pray that Holy Spirit will never let them stray away from the calling and purpose of God on their lives. I strike the ground for them now!! Not once or twice but a dozen or a hundred times. I believe God is faithful to do it. Thank you LORD JESUS!
