The Humble Leader Day 4

The Humble Leader Day 4

Day 4: The Grace of Humility – Submit, Resist, Draw Near

Scripture:

James 4:6-7 (NKJV) “God resists the proud, but gives grace to the humble. Therefore submit to God. Resist the devil and he will flee from you.”

Devotion:

Humility is not weakness—it is the channel through which the Holy Spirit pours “more grace.” When we submit to God, we gain authority to resist the enemy. Intimacy with God replaces independence. This is Kingdom order: humility first, then power.

Kingdom Application:

Practice the three steps today:

  1. Submit one specific area to God.
  2. Resist the devil’s lies with spoken truth.
  3. Draw near—spend extra time in worship or the Word. Watch the enemy flee and the Holy Spirit draw close.

Prayer:

Holy Spirit, I submit my life, my ministry, and my emotions to You. I resist every proud and fearful thought. I draw near to You right now. Fill me with more grace. In Jesus’ name, Amen.Kingdom Confession:“I submit to God. I resist the devil. He flees from me. I walk in more grace today.”
