Day 6: The Joy, Lift & Inheritance of the Humble

Scripture:

James 4:10; Isaiah 29:19; Matthew 5:5 (NKJV) “Humble yourselves in the sight of the Lord, and He will lift you up… The humble also shall increase their joy in the Lord… Blessed are the meek, for they shall inherit the earth.”

Devotion:

This is the beautiful promise! When we humble ourselves, God does the lifting. The humble receive increasing joy in the Holy One of Israel and inherit what the proud try to seize. Meekness is strength under God’s control—and it receives the Kingdom.

Kingdom Application:

Choose one area where you have been striving and release it to the Lord. Trust Him to lift you in His timing. Watch joy increase even in ordinary days.

Prayer:

Lord, I humble myself in Your sight. Lift me up according to Your Word. Increase my joy in You and let me walk in the inheritance of the meek. Thank You for more grace. In Jesus’ name, Amen.

Kingdom Confession:

“I am humbled before the Lord. He lifts me up. My joy increases daily. I inherit the promises of God.”
