True humility is found in trusting God at His word. It is prideful to say something about yourself that is contrary to what God thinks about you. How do you know what He thinks about you? Ask Holy Spirit. Read the Bible. Focus on Scriptures that talk about you “in Christ” or “in Him”.

Don’t add to His words by contradicting what He has said in His word about those who put their faith in His only begotten Son. God loves you and He has forgiven all of your sins. Start today. Believe God.

“Every word of God is pure; He is a shield to those who put their trust in Him. Do not add to His words, Lest He rebuke you, and you be found a liar.” (Proverbs 30:5–6, NKJV)
