The Power of The Word of God - The Word of God mixed with faith is Your Armor, Your Shield and Your Sword
“Finally, my brethren, be strong in the Lord and in the power of His might. Put on the whole armor of God, that you may be able to stand against the wiles of the devil. For we do not wrestle against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this age, against spiritual hosts of wickedness in the heavenly places. Therefore take up the whole armor of God, that you may be able to withstand in the evil day, and having done all, to stand. Stand therefore, having girded your waist with truth, having put on the breastplate of righteousness, and having shod your feet with the preparation of the gospel of peace; above all, taking the shield of faith with which you will be able to quench all the fiery darts of the wicked one. And take the helmet of salvation, and the sword of the Spirit, which is the word of God;” (Ephesians 6:10–17, NKJV)
The Word of God mixed with your faith will make you stand against all of the wiles of the devil.
- Gird yourself with truth - John 17:17 God’s word is truth
- Having on the breastplate of righteousness - Romans 10:6-8 - Righteousness is by faith in God’s Word
- Having shoes of the good news of peace - Romans 10:8-9 - This is the word of faith which we preach
- Taking the shield of faith - Romans 10:8-9 - The word is in your heart and in your mouth, that if you believe in your heart and confess with your mouth, you will be saved.
- Take the helmet of salvation - Romans 10:10 With the heart one believes unto righteousness and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation.
- And the sword of the Spirit which is the word of God - Hebrews 4:12 The word of God is sharper than any two edged sword.
Read and confess the word of God every day and you will grow strong in spirit and you will overcome temptation and you will destroy the works of the devil from your life.
