Seeking Jesus First Jan. 7, 2024
Do you want to be tiresome to The LORD? Contradict His Words with your words.
“You have wearied the Lord with your words; “Yet you say, “In what way have we wearied Him?” In that you say, “Everyone who does evil Is good in the sight of the Lord, And He delights in them,” Or, “Where is the God of justice?”” (Malachi 2:17, NKJV)
Do you want to please The LORD? Believe Him and believe His Words. Your faith In God and in Christ Jesus pleases God. When you receive life from every word of God, you please God. When you keep His words in your mouth and meditate in them day and night so that you observe and do all of them, you please God.
We do not deny that Christ Jesus pleased God on our behalf and that we have been accepted in the beloved. We are simply saying that even blood born offspring can please their parents through their faith and their works. Look what The LORD Jesus said about it, “Let your light so shine before men, that they may see your good works and glorify your Father in heaven.” (Matthew 5:16, NKJV) If your good works glorify God, is it not obvious that God is pleased by that?
“So then each of us shall give account of himself to God.” (Romans 14:12, NKJV)
“But I say to you that for every idle word men may speak, they will give account of it in the day of judgment. For by your words you will be justified, and by your words you will be condemned.”” (Matthew 12:36–37, NKJV)
“And there is no creature hidden from His sight, but all things are naked and open to the eyes of Him to whom we must give account.” (Hebrews 4:13, NKJV)
“They will give an account to Him who is ready to judge the living and the dead.” (1 Peter 4:5, NKJV)
“And whatever you do in word or deed, do all in the name of the Lord Jesus, giving thanks to God the Father through Him.” (Colossians 3:17, NKJV)
“My little children, let us not love in word or in tongue, but in deed and in truth.” (1 John 3:18, NKJV)
We please God by faith, and faith without corresponding action is dead.
