The amount of faith that God gave you is enough.

And the apostles said to the Lord, “Increase our faith.” So the Lord said, “If you have faith as a mustard seed, you can say to this mulberry tree, ‘Be pulled up by the roots and be planted in the sea,’ and it would obey you.” (Luke 17:5–6, NKJV)

Then the disciples came to Jesus privately and said, “Why could we not cast it out?” So Jesus said to them, “Because of your unbelief; for assuredly, I say to you, if you have faith as a mustard seed, you will say to this mountain, ‘Move from here to there,’ and it will move; and nothing will be impossible for you.” (Matthew 17:19–20, NKJV)

And when the disciples saw it, they marveled, saying, “How did the fig tree wither away so soon?” So Jesus answered and said to them, “Assuredly, I say to you, if you have faith and do not doubt, you will not only do what was done to the fig tree, but also if you say to this mountain, ‘Be removed and be cast into the sea,’ it will be done. And whatever things you ask in prayer, believing, you will receive.”” (Matthew 21:20–22, NKJV)

The disciples asked The LORD JESUS three times about doing what they believed was impossible.

  • “Increase our faith”.
  • “Why could we not cast it out?”
  • “How did the fig tree wither away?”

Jesus answered, “If you have faith, and do not doubt, you will speak and have what you say and nothing shall be impossible for you.” Jesus told them that it only takes a little faith without doubting.

If you have faith you will speak and not doubt and nothing shall be impossible for you. Three times! Jesus said faith speaks and does not doubt. Mustard seed faith is enough to do the impossible if it is paired with your words. “God has given to everyone the measure of faith.” Is the measure of faith the size of a mustard seed? “having been born again, not of corruptible seed but incorruptible, through the word of God which lives and abides forever,” (1 Peter 1:23, NKJV) Is the incorruptible seed the mustard seed of faith which comes by hearing the word of God? Yes, I believe it is.
