“A New commandment I give to you, that you love one another”~Jesus Christ

This statement makes Jesus the Lawgiver in the New Covenant. With this New Covenant Law in mind, read James 4:11–12

“Do not speak evil of one another, brethren. He who speaks evil of a brother and judges his brother, speaks evil of the law and judges the law. But if you judge the law, you are not a doer of the law but a judge. There is one Lawgiver, who is able to save and to destroy. Who are you to judge another?”

Now take a look at 1 Cor.13, aka The Love Chapter. God is love so God is holy. We are His dear children who have His Amazing Holy Spirit who folds our hearts with love. Love and Holiness, at the very least, are inseparable. One could even say they are one and the same. God is love. God is Holy. God is light. We are His offspring. What does that make us?
