“For unto us a Child is born, Unto us a Son is given; And the government will be upon His shoulder. And His name will be called Wonderful, Counselor, Mighty God, Everlasting Father, Prince of Peace. Of the increase of His government and peace There will be no end, Upon the throne of David and over His kingdom, To order it and establish it with judgment and justice From that time forward, even forever. The zeal of the Lord of hosts will perform this.” (Isaiah 9:6–7, NKJV)
Jesus, The Son of God, came as a child, submitted to his parents and elders, grew into a son, fulfilled His purpose and became King of kings.
Now look at this: because Christ’s kingdom is ever-increasing, His “children” submit to Him and to the five-fold ministry as they grow up into sons. They fulfill their purpose and become kings.
Kings are ever mindful of kingdom business. God’s kingdom business is expansion, not through war and violence, but through faith, hope and love. His kingdom expands into the hearts of people all over the world making people from every tribe and tongue into one family. If we are God’s children, we submit to the lordship of Christ Jesus and become sons of God. As we become sons of God, we learn to think and speak like The King. As a king, We learn to walk by faith and live by our decrees, and our influence becomes a voice that disciples the nations. Simple, right? Just enjoy the journey one day at a time. The key is submission; to Christ through His Spirit who live in you, and to those God has brought into your life to train you.
