Love is amazing. Unselfish love. Unconditional love. Unchanging love. Unfailing love. Love is the key to God’s heart. We are made in His image, so love is the key to our hearts. Christ Jesus changed everything. He made knowing God all about love.

“And now abide faith, hope, love, these three; but the greatest of these is love.” (1 Corinthians 13:13, NKJV)

“In this is love, not that we loved God, but that He loved us and sent His Son to be the propitiation for our sins.” (1 John 4:10, NKJV)

“But God demonstrates His own love toward us, in that while we were still sinners, Christ died for us.” (Romans 5:8, NKJV)

“He who does not love does not know God, for God is love.” (1 John 4:8, NKJV)

When we are loved, we learn how to love. When we encounter God, we encounter love. When we encounter love, our hearts are awaken. What would happen in your soul right now if you allowed the Spirit of God in you to flood your soul with love? This is how to do it. Holy Spirit floods our hearts with love.

• Yield your mind to love. Meditate on these or other verses about The Father’s love for us.
• Yield your will to love. Press into The Father’s love. Wait on The LORD. Soak. Put other activities aside. Choose the love response.
• Yield your emotions to love. Allow Holy Spirit into every emotional place. Let His love replace the negative emotions toward others. Let His love remove all guilt and condemnation. Receive and give forgiveness.

Do these things by faith, trusting God to keep His promise and show up. He is seeking true worshippers. He draws near to those who draw near to Him. And He reveals Himself to those who diligently seek Him.
