As a man thinks in his heart, so is he.

What you imagine yourself to be, you will live out.

Your mental picture of yourself will affect your outcome.

So, let God paint the picture with His Spirit and His Word. How does God see you? Do you believe that God loves you and values you highly? Start with that. Say it to yourself. “God loves us and has determined our value as equal to his own.” John 3:16. We are worth what Christ Jesus went through to save us. We are now one in spirit with God.

Now, with your value and love before God being so highly recognized, start seeing yourself the way He sees you. Ask The Father through Holy Spirit to give to you the spirit of wisdom and revelation in knowing and relating to Him. Ask Him to open the eyes of your understanding, so that you can see and experience for yourself, the hope given to you through hearing His voice, and the richness of the glorious inheritance given to His beloved family, and the access that we have to His exceeding great resurrection power through faith in Him.

As you pray this prayer found in Ephesians 1, ask Holy Spirit what it looks like, and begin to imagine yourself being transformed by the wisdom and revelation that God has granted you.  Stop worrying about the “how” and focus on the author and finisher of your faith. See the end that He has declared for your benefit. It is beneficial, pleasing and complete.
