Part Three - Impacting the natural realm for good.
God has created the earth in such a way that it responds to humans. The earth is created to return to man what he puts into it. Even better, the earth is created to return to man more than he puts into it. Seedtime and harvest will remain as long as the earth remains. Apostle Paul said that we should not deceive ourselves into thinking that we will not reap what we sow.
The question many people have is, “Does the earth respond to words?” I believe that it does for many reasons. First, the earth was created by words. Second, the earth is maintained and upheld by the power of God’s word or as Hebrews 1:3 says, “and upholding all things by the word of His power”. Third, we know that the earth awaits, in a groaning state, “the manifestation of the sons of God.” Fourth, Jesus said that we have the faith of God and will have what we say (Mark 11:22-23).
So the earth responds to the words and deeds of the sons of God. This should be no surprise because we know that it responds to the words and deeds of those who do evil as well. The land will reject a wicked people. Their wickedness will run its course and God will look for someone else to steward the land.
The earth, people around you, and even your own soul and body respond to words and deeds. This is why the new covenant is based upon faith, hope and love, the greatest of these being love. Love conquers all. This is why Jesus gave us the primary new covenant command to love one another as He has loved us. Love not just in word, but in truth and deed. Your loving words and deeds will have a tremendous impact on the world around you.
