What has Christ Jesus already accomplished through His life, crucifixion, resurrection and ascension?

As we indicated in the June 10, 2024 devotion, Christ Jesus has given us victory over sin. We are no longer under the dominion of sin. We are under the dominion of grace, therefore, we have dominion over sin.

“For sin shall not have dominion over you, for you are not under law but under grace.” (Romans 6:14, NKJV)

We are no longer under the dominion of The Law of The Old Covenant. We are under The Grace of The Covenant of Christ Jesus, so we have dominion over sin. You as a child of God can stop doing the thing that you hate. We can stop doing the things that are hurting ourselves and others. We can stop addiction. We can walk in victory because we are no longer under the law but we are under grace.

What do you have to do to receive grace? All you have to do to accept grace is simply believe what Christ Jesus has accomplished. God has given you grace and is giving you more grace. There is a continual flow of grace toward you from God. Pride will hinder the grace of God from reaching you because God resists the proud. Humility receives grace through faith and salvation is by grace through faith.

Grace is all you need to overcome the thing that is trying to destroy you. Faith is all it takes to receive grace. Faith works by love.

Christ has overcome sin so you are more than a conquerer of sin. As a believer in Christ Jesus, you already have the victory over all sin. When Adam sinned, all of His descendants became sinners. Because Christ Jesus came, all who believe became free from sin.

Humble yourself. Repent. Trust God. Receive more grace. Walk in freedom. You can do it because you have the continual flow grace given to you by God.
