How does The LORD GOD ALMIGHTY introduce Himself to us? Think about it.

How does an infinite being, capable of creating the universe we see, speak to us in a way that we can comprehend?

We can’t see Him unless He chooses a form with which to reveal Himself. Our words are a limited expression and are meant to categorize and create a mental picture.

When God encompasses so much beyond our understanding, how does He reveal who He is to us?

A little bit at a time.

About the time that we begin to grasp what He reveals, He shifts and begins to reveal something else abut Himself. We must be willing to see and hear. We must be willing to seek Him diligently through faith. When we stretch ourselves to worship the Infinite Creator, one minute, we may feel alone; and the next minute, we may feel overwhelmed with His presence.

In Exodus 3:14, “And God said to Moses, “I AM WHO I AM.” This could also read, “I will be who I will be.” God is telling Moses that He will get to know more and more about GOD as they walk together. It seems that God’s goal was to open the dialogue of a long-lasting relationship full of discovering more of who God is through circumstantial interactions.

Whatever we are going through, seek The I AM, and discover how He reveals Himself to us. Then worship and give thanks for what He does and who He is. Exodus 3:14 was the beginning of the relationship between God and Moses. If you keep reading, there are many times God starts a sentence with the words, “I AM”. What follows is the revelation of God to Moses.
