Stand in the gap. Build a Wall of Righteousness. Cry out for Justice.
Both here in Ezekiel 22 and Isaiah 5, God destroyed the land because there was no one practicing righteousness nor standing in the gap for the nation. No one stood up against injustice and oppression and God had to allow their enemies to invade and destroy.
“The people of the land have used oppressions, committed robbery, and mistreated the poor and needy; and they wrongfully oppress the stranger. So I sought for a man among them who would make a wall, and stand in the gap before Me on behalf of the land, that I should not destroy it; but I found no one. Therefore I have poured out My indignation on them; I have consumed them with the fire of My wrath; and I have recompensed their deeds on their own heads,” says the Lord God.” (Ezekiel 22:29–31, NKJV)
However, Jesus tells us what God will do to protect His righteous ones who cry out day and night. He will avenge them speedily.
“Then the Lord said, “Hear what the unjust judge said. And shall God not avenge His own elect who cry out day and night to Him, though He bears long with them? I tell you that He will avenge them speedily. Nevertheless, when the Son of Man comes, will He really find faith on the earth?” (Luke 18:6–8, NKJV)
We are doing this! Many believers across America are doing this.
“if My people who are called by My name will humble themselves, and pray and seek My face, and turn from their wicked ways, then I will hear from heaven, and will forgive their sin and heal their land.” (2 Chronicles 7:14, NKJV)
Believers follow these steps today and every day and night:
Humble yourself and call on The LORD Jesus Christ, Pray and Seek His Face, Turn from wickedness and Practice your gift of Righteousness and Walk in Love. Then God will Hear from Heaven and Forgive us and Heal our land.
