“For as many as are of the works of the law are under the curse; for it is written, “Cursed is everyone who does not continue in all things which are written in the book of the law, to do them.”” (Galatians 3:10, NKJV)
“Christ has redeemed us from the curse of the law, having become a curse for us (for it is written, “Cursed is everyone who hangs on a tree”), that the blessing of Abraham might come upon the Gentiles in Christ Jesus, that we might receive the promise of the Spirit through faith.” (Galatians 3:13–14, NKJV)
Have you ever wondered if Jesus has redeemed everyone from the curse of the law? Or did He only redeem those who believe in Him? Well, history tells us that the curse of the law fell hard on the Israelites who rejected Jesus as Messiah. If Jesus redeemed the ones who didn’t believe in Him, Jerusalem should not have been utterly destroyed. John 3:18 tells us that those who do not believe in Him are condemned. Condemned means judged and punished. You see, until an offer is accepted, a contact is not formed. The new covenant made by Jesus’ blood has to be accepted through faith (believing and confessing) in order to receive the redemption offered.
The truth is, the curse still operates in those who do not receive redemption. On top of that, the curse tries to come on the redeemed who walk according to the flesh. We see this in Galatians 5 and 6 (the works of the flesh, and sowing and reaping from those works). However, if you are born of The Spirit, you are a son of God and you are redeemed from the curse, therefore you have the right to walk by faith in the blessing of Abraham and the promise of The Spirit.
