Apostle Peter preached by the anointing of Holy Spirit the first salvation message ever preached after Holy Spirit was poured out on all flesh. He made this bold statement speaking of the name of The Christ - Jesus: for there is no other name under heaven given among men by which we must be saved.” Another translation makes it even more clear by saying, Jesus is the only name which is necessary for you to be saved.
Salvation, Saved - (Greek - Soterias, Sozo: from the root sōs which means safe and well). Salvation is also translated deliverance and preservation, and saved is also translated cured, ensured salvation, get well, made well, preserved, recovered, and restored.
“Then Peter, filled with the Holy Spirit, said to them, “Rulers of the people and elders of Israel: If we this day are judged for a good deed done to a helpless man, by what means he has been made well, let it be known to you all, and to all the people of Israel, that by the name of Jesus Christ of Nazareth, whom you crucified, whom God raised from the dead, by Him this man stands here before you whole. This is the ‘stone which was rejected by you builders, which has become the chief cornerstone.’ Nor is there salvation in any other, for there is no other name under heaven given among men by which we must be saved.”” (Acts 4:8–12, NKJV)
Apostle Paul said, “that if you confess with your mouth the Lord Jesus and believe in your heart that God has raised Him from the dead, you will be saved. For with the heart one believes unto righteousness, and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation… All those who call on the name of The LORD shall be saved.” Rom. 10:9,10,13.
Here are two witnesses declaring that there is only one name under heaven that grants God’s salvation.
