Seeking Jesus First - Daily Worship, Spirit and Word - Jan. 11, 2024

Christ Jesus revealed the character of God. Jesus did the will of The Father. Jesus expressed the words and actions of GOD The Father. He received the curse of The Law on behalf of those who were under The LAW. He received the curse and death of sin for the whole world. He overcame all of it through resurrection and then extended His victory to all who believe.

Through Christ Jesus, we see The Father’s heart for humanity, we see The Father’s face and hear The Father’s loving words. The will of God is expressed through Christ Jesus. In fact, Scripture tells us that the true intentions of God were never revealed until Jesus came and revealed the mystery of God according to the good pleasure of His Will and Purpose. Ephesians 1:3–6 (NKJV): Blessed be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, who has blessed us with every spiritual blessing in the heavenly places in Christ, just as He chose us in Him before the foundation of the world, that we should be holy and without blame before Him in love, having predestined us to adoption as sons by Jesus Christ to Himself, according to the good pleasure of His will, to the praise of the glory of His grace, by which He made us accepted in the Beloved.
