SJF - Daily Worship, Spirit and Word - Feb. 9, 2024

People who do not believe in God are often wiser than those who do because they understand that, through their efforts, they can succeed. Many work very hard towards their own goals and get the thing that they desire.

“So the master commended the unjust steward because he had dealt shrewdly. For the sons of this world are more shrewd in their generation than the sons of light.” (Luke 16:8, NKJV)

Never minimize natural effort towards reaching goals. However, the sons of God’s kingdom have an advantage. They can learn Godly wisdom and principles and apply them to their natural efforts. The advantage does not stop there. They have access to the Creator’s authority and power through the Word and the Spirit. A person in relationship with God can learn secrets and receive empowerment beyond their worldly peers.

The world gets excited about increase of three, or six or ten times. And Jesus has promised his sons 30, or 60, or 100 times increase. (Thanks Jeff Bigby.)

As a son of the kingdom of God, you must not cease your effort. You just spend time with Jesus in the spirit and in the word and let him tell you what to spend your effort on. We are receiving spiritual truths and aligning our words and deeds with them in the natural world. This is how God’s will is accomplished in us and in the earth.
